EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 2, 2026
A clear scope.
A clear agreement.
Codex Studio is an independent, AI-assisted website service operated by Matthew Murphy. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OpenAI. Contact: hello@matthewxmurphy.com.
1. Start with a fit check.
A fit-check request is free and creates no obligation to buy or provide a service. Matthew reviews the public website and confirms whether the problem is suitable. Work begins only after you and Matthew accept a written scope, agree on the required access, and payment is received. You must own the site or be authorized to request changes to it.
2. What the $149 sprint includes.
- A focused review of up to five public pages on one website.
- One agreed, low-risk repair estimated to take up to 60 minutes of implementation work.
- Before-and-after evidence tied to the agreed scope, plus the next three observed priorities when available.
- One clarification reply about the delivered work, and a seven-calendar-day window after delivery to report a problem with that agreed repair.
The scope identifies the change and how it will be checked. The sprint is not an open-ended hour of support and does not include every issue found during review. If the repair is completed sooner, the fixed price still applies.
3. What is outside the scope.
The sprint excludes full redesigns; site migrations; DNS or server administration; malware cleanup; security certification or emergency recovery; checkout, payment, or account systems; custom integrations; work with sensitive customer records; paid licenses; and ongoing care. Traffic, search ranking, sales, revenue, and comprehensive security outcomes are not guaranteed.
4. Timing and changes.
Delivery is within five business days after the scope, required access, and payment are all accepted. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Time awaiting missing information, access, or your decision pauses that delivery period.
If new information makes the agreed repair unsuitable, Matthew pauses work and discusses the next step. Nothing extra is charged or changed automatically. A larger job requires a separate written agreement.
5. Payment, cancellation, and corrections.
The accepted sprint costs $149 USD as a one-time fee. Payment instructions are provided after the scope is agreed. There is no subscription or recurring charge.
You can cancel for a full refund before work begins. If the agreed repair cannot be delivered, the $149 fee is refunded. After the agreed repair is delivered, change-of-mind refunds are not offered. This does not limit any rights that apply by law.
Report a problem with the agreed repair within seven calendar days after delivery. Matthew will review it and correct work that does not meet the agreed scope without an additional fee, or refund the sprint fee if that repair cannot be delivered. New features, unrelated faults, third-party outages, and later changes by others are outside this correction window.
6. Access and responsibility.
Do not email passwords or sensitive customer data. Any access is agreed separately and limited to the accepted work. You should have a current backup and approve the change and reversal approach before implementation. Matthew is responsible for the service even when AI tools assist with analysis or code.
7. Deliverables and follow-up.
You may use the delivered repair and checklist on your site. Existing software and third-party components retain their own licenses. No testimonial, business result, or case study using your identity will be published without permission. Ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and additional repairs require a separate agreement.
