Privacy, plainly.

Codex Studio is operated by Matthew Murphy. For a privacy question or a request concerning your information, email hello@matthewxmurphy.com.

The request form stays on your device.

The fit-check form prepares a text brief in your browser. It does not send the form to a server, save it in browser storage, or submit it automatically. Copying the brief places it on your device’s clipboard. Opening the email link passes the brief to your chosen email application. You decide whether to send it.

If you send the email, your email provider handles that transmission under its own terms. Codex Studio receives the information you choose to include: typically your email address, website address, and description of the problem.

How request information is used.

Information you send is used to assess the fit of your request, reply to you, agree on a scope, carry out an accepted service, and keep related service and payment records. A request does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Your request is not published as a testimonial or case study without your permission.

Website operation.

The site uses locally served fonts and assets and does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, embedded social widgets, or cookies. The hosting service may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and request times, for operation and troubleshooting. Do not put private information in a website URL.

Access and AI-assisted work.

Do not send passwords, API keys, payment details, or private customer records in a fit-check request. If access is needed for an accepted repair, the access method and scope are agreed separately. Use a temporary account with only the required permissions, and remove it when the work is complete.

AI tools may assist with public-page analysis and code changes. Private customer data and credentials are outside the sprint’s scope. Any additional information or service access needed to complete the work must be agreed with you first.

Keeping and removing information.

Matthew keeps request correspondence and service records as needed to handle the request, complete the work, resolve related issues, and meet recordkeeping obligations. You can ask what information is held or request correction or deletion by email. Some records may need to be retained for completed transactions or legal requirements; any applicable limit will be explained in response.

Other websites and updates.

Links lead to independently operated services whose privacy practices may differ. This page will be updated if the service’s handling of information changes.
